• Our applied approach to teaching is supported by dedicated laboratories, including state-of-the-art facilities for rapid prototyping and manufacturing, a fully equipped materials laboratory, and a modern electronics and robotics lab.
• Your third year enables you to tailor your degree to suit your interests, strengths and future career with a wide range of modules and an individual project.

Students from INTI College and Prime College may be considered for direct entry to the second year of our Engineering programmes. Holders of the Malaysian Ministry of Education Matriculation Certificate in Science can be considered https://www.metadialog.com/ for entry to year one of Biosciences, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. We may accept your English language grade from the French Baccalauréat de l’Enseignement du Second Degré if you achieved 14 (bien) or above.

The fourth year continues the journey towards the programme aim in which you create and reason about learning, intelligent, rational, mobile agents and how they perceive, traverse, and manipulate the environment. The 180-credit MSc award comprises four taught modules, plus a research dissertation. Students are encouraged to take up Summer internships during the Summer holidays, though it is up to the student to find them. Support is available to students from the Employability and Careers Service when applying for placements and internships. We also provide advice and support on budgeting, money management and financial hardship.

There is also a ‘Just Ask’ service for help and advice, live LibChat, online workshops, tutorials and drop-ins available from our Learning Services, and weekly library live chat sessions that give you the chance to ask the library teams for help. We will support you to confidently use a huge range of learning technologies, including Blackboard, Collaborate Ultra, DMU Replay, MS Teams, Turnitin and more. Alongside this, you can access LinkedIn Learning and learn how to use Microsoft 365, and study support software such as mind mapping and note-taking through our new Digital Student Skills Hub.
